WORKSHOPS | PROFESSIONAL LEARNING
Professional learning that feels a little different.
Different Frequency workshops are practical, experiential and designed to get you thinking — and doing.
Expect movement, conversation, reflection, curiosity and ideas you can actually take with you. No sitting through three hours of slides. No pressure to participate in one particular way. Just space to explore, experience and look at things from a different perspective.
What We Carry | 3hrs
A workshop that invites participants to explore capacity — what we have available, what quietly draws from it, and why our capacity can look completely different from one day to the next.
We carry more than physical demands. We carry thoughts, emotions, responsibilities, relationships, unfinished conversations and the environments we spend our time in. Everything we carry requires energy.
Through practical activities, reflection and discussion, this workshop explores the physical, emotional, mental and environmental factors that influence our available capacity, how our nervous system responds to what we're carrying, and what may help us reduce, release or restore.
Rather than asking “Why can't I handle this?”, participants are encouraged to become curious about a different question:
“What am I already carrying?”
Think differently about energy.
Think differently about capacity.
Think differently about what you carry.

Wired Differently | 3hrs
This is an interactive, movement-based workshop exploring ADHD, autism and demand avoidance through lived experience, curiosity and an educator’s lens.
Blending personal stories, practical experiences and reflection, participants are invited to consider what neurodivergence can feel like from the inside — from executive functioning and sensory load to masking, demands, autonomy and changing capacity.
Rather than asking “Why won’t they?”, we’ll get curious about “What might be making this hard?” and explore how the way we communicate, the environments we create and the expectations we place can influence a student’s ability to participate.
Participants will leave with a different lens, practical ways to adapt their approach, and one important question to keep asking:
What can I do differently?
Think differently about neurodivergence.
Get curious about what’s underneath.
Adapt for the person in front of you.

Beyond the Behaviour | 3hrs
This workshop invites us to look beyond what we can see, challenge the stories we create about others, and become curious about what might be happening underneath.
Why can't they sit still? Why aren't they participating? Why are they always so abrupt? Why have they suddenly withdrawn? Why does the same behaviour keep happening?
Whether it’s a child we teach, a person we support, a colleague we work alongside, or someone in our everyday lives, we often see a behaviour and quickly create a story about what it means.
But what if there’s more going on than we can see?
This practical and thought-provoking workshop explores how needs, environment, experiences, expectations and individual differences can influence the way people behave, communicate, participate and connect.
Participants will be encouraged to separate what they observe from what they assume, challenge their first interpretation, and replace “I know why they’re doing that” with “I wonder what else could be going on?”
Sometimes changing the way we respond starts with changing the way we see.
Notice differently.
Think differently.
Connect differently.

Introduction to Rebounding | 3hrs
Discover just how much you can do with a rebounder.
This practical, movement-based workshop explores the foundations of rebounding, safe practice, movement and intensity, play, connection and ways to adapt rebounder activities for different people and environments.
Designed for educators, therapists, fitness professionals and others working with children and adults, you’ll move, experiment, play and leave with practical ideas you can take straight back into your own practice.
No rebounding experience needed — just come ready to move, notice and get curious.
